How close is South Beach to Camps Bay beach?
South Beach is 100m from the Camps Bay tidal pool and 200m from the world-famous Camps Bay beachfront and Blue Flag-rated beach.

Are there restaurants and bars nearby?
Many restaurants and bars are within easy walking distance, less than 200m away.

How far is the hotel from Cape Town International Airport?
The airport is 25km from the hotel.

Do you offer airport transfers and tours?
Yes — we arrange these through a reliable, highly recommended third-party company. Cost depends on the number of guests and vehicle type, so please contact us for a quote.

Rooms and Suites

What type of accommodation does South Beach offer?
South Beach is a 5-star, all-suite boutique hotel. Suites range from 41m² to 120m², are all sea-facing, and include either a balcony or private patio.

Do the suites have kitchens?
Yes — every suite has a fully equipped galley kitchen with a full-size fridge, mini bar and coffee machine, plus daily servicing.

Are rooms serviced daily?
Yes.

Do you provide breakfast?
Your fridge is stocked daily with breakfast items, and freshly baked croissants and baguettes are delivered to your door — so you can enjoy breakfast at your own pace, in your own suite.

Can you accommodate dietary requirements?
Yes. Before arrival, you’ll complete a Pre-Check-in form covering Halal, gluten-free and vegan requirements.

Is the hotel Halal-friendly?
Yes — we can stock Halal-only food and can recommend a selection of Halal restaurants in Cape Town.

What bed configurations are available?
Both twin and king beds are available, depending on room category. Please contact us to confirm options. All rooms accommodate 2 guests.

Can you accommodate a third guest?
Certain rooms allow a roll-away bed for a third guest at an additional charge (maximum 3 guests per room).

Do you have larger options for families or groups?
Yes — our sister property, Blue Views Beachfront Penthouse Apartments (owned and managed by South Beach), offers 3- and 4-bedroom penthouses that can interlead into a 7-bedroom configuration for larger groups. Serviced daily, Monday to Saturday.

Do all rooms have baths as well as showers?
Yes, with the exception of the Deluxe and Deluxe Premier rooms, which have showers only.

Does the hotel have a pool?
Yes — guests have exclusive use of two swimming pools, one of which is heated in summer.

Is there a gym?
Yes, a comprehensive gym open 24 hours a day.

Do you have a massage room?
Yes, including couples’ massages.

Is there a bar?
Yes — two bars: one at reception open 24 hours, and a pool bar open from 10am until sunset.

Is there a laundry service?
Guests can use our on-site laundry room, or send laundry out at their own cost.

Is parking secure?
Yes — secure, undercover parking is available for all guests, with no need to reserve in advance.

Is reception open 24/7?
Yes, reception is open 24 hours a day.

Children & Occupancy

Is South Beach child-friendly?
Children over the age of 13 are welcome.

What are check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 2:00pm, check-out by 11:00am. Early check-in or late check-out may be available on request, subject to availability (additional charges may apply).

Do you have backup power?
Yes — we have both a generator and a backup UPS system
